Intrepid Release: Fewer Manual Steps, More Certainty
Every month, Enterpryze gets better because the businesses using it keep showing us where the real friction is.
Sometimes that friction is obvious: a compliance deadline, a VAT balance that will not clear, an invoice that has to be rekeyed. Sometimes it is quieter: a transaction posted into a closed period, a question about who entered something, a menu that takes one click more than it should.
The Intrepid Release is about closing those gaps. Catching problems earlier, keeping context attached to the record, and taking manual work out of the jobs your team repeats every day.
From finance and purchasing to warehousing, sales and compliance, the Enterpryze new features July 2026 has delivered are designed to help your team work with fewer surprises and less rework. It follows on from last month's Horatio Release, and you can see everything we have shipped so far this year on our product releases blog.
What Is New in the Enterpryze New Features July 2026 Release?
Expenses: Billable Costs You Can Actually See
When expenses need to be billed back to a customer, accuracy matters. Anything missed is margin lost, and anything unclear costs your finance team time in checking and chasing.
Customer billable items are now easier to see on Purchase Invoices, and a new tab brings Supplier Expense detail into one place instead of leaving it spread across screens.
This helps finance teams, project teams and anyone responsible for customer recharges confirm that every billable cost has been captured properly, without opening three records to be sure. It builds on the billing improvements introduced in the Horatio Release, so the two updates work together.
Customer-led update: This came from customers who needed billable expenses to be clearer at invoice level.
E-Invoicing: Compliance Without a Separate Project
E-invoicing is moving from optional to expected across more markets, and for most SMEs that raises the same worry: does this become another system to buy, connect and manage?

Enterpryze keeps you compliant. E-invoices are issued through the network your customers and tax authorities expect, from the system you already use to raise the invoice.
For finance leads, that means meeting new requirements without a separate compliance project sitting on top of everything else. You can read more about how we approach compliance and network connectivity on our Peppol and E-Invoicing page.

Sales and Purchasing: Catch Issues Earlier, Answer Questions Faster
Two problems come up again and again in busy transaction teams. Something gets posted into a period that has already been closed, and nobody notices until month end. Or a document raises a question and no one is sure who entered it.

Enterpryze now warns users earlier when a posting period is closed, at the point of entering the transaction rather than after the fact. Fewer reversals, fewer corrections, and a cleaner close. This continues the work on flexible accounting periods we introduced in the Voyager Release back in January.

A simple audit view has also been added. The name of the user who created a record now appears on all Sales and Purchase transactions and on the Stock Item preview screen. When someone asks why a document looks the way it does, the answer is on the screen instead of in a chain of emails.

Customer-led update: Both improvements came directly from customers dealing with the everyday cost of late corrections and unanswered questions.
Warehousing: A Menu That Matches the Work
As warehouse operations grow, the number of things your team needs to reach grows with them.
The Warehousing menu has been extended so more warehouse functions are available where users expect to find them, rather than scattered across the system.
It is a small change, but it removes the hunting that slows down supervisors and stock teams during a busy shift. If you are still building out your warehouse setup, our Warehouse Management System pages cover the wider picture.

Banking: Cleaner VAT on Written Off Payments
Small unpaid balances are a normal part of trading. Writing them off should not create a VAT problem.
Payments now handle VAT correctly when a balance is written off, so the treatment is right first time and your accountant is not unpicking it later.
This gives finance teams confidence that the ledger reflects reality without manual journals to tidy it up.

File Importer: Journals That Carry More Detail
Importing journals is only useful if the imported record holds everything the business needs.
The Journal Importer now supports additional fields, so more detail comes across in the import instead of being added by hand afterwards.
For finance teams handling volume, that is fewer touchpoints between the source data and a posted, complete journal.
Customer-led update: This came from a customer importing journals at volume who needed the imported record to be complete on arrival.
Purchasing: Less Rekeying, More Automation
Purchase invoice processing is one of the most repetitive jobs in any finance function, and one of the easiest places for errors to enter the system.
Invoice Automation has been enhanced with a set of refinements that make the flow smoother in daily use. Alongside that, Invoice Scanning now includes a Service Document Editor, so scanned service documents can be reviewed and corrected before posting rather than after.
The result is fewer invoices being rekeyed, and fewer corrections landing in someone's queue at the end of the month. Invoice automation has been a running theme across several releases now, including Voyager in January, and there is more detail on the wider module on our Business Spend Management page.
Customer-led update: Shaped by a customer processing high volumes of scanned service documents.
CRM: Forecasting Against a Real Budget
A forecast is only useful when you can see it next to what you planned.
Sales Forecasting now supports Budget Revenues, so management can compare expected sales against budgeted revenue in one view instead of exporting both and lining them up in a spreadsheet.
For sales leaders and finance, that means a clearer answer to the question that matters most: are we on track, and where is the gap. Sales Forecasting moved into CRM in the Horatio Release, and this update builds directly on that.

Customer-led update: Requested by a customer who wanted forecast and budget in the same conversation, not the same email thread.
Activities: A Cleaner Way to Track Follow Up
Activities are where the small commitments live. The call to return, the task to close, the follow up that keeps a deal or a case moving.
The Activities interface has been updated to be cleaner and easier to work through, so your team spends less time managing the list and more time working it.
Built With Customers, Not Just For Them
The Intrepid Release is another example of how Enterpryze keeps improving month after month.
Some updates open up new ground, like e-invoicing. Some quietly remove a job your team never wanted to do, like rekeying a scanned invoice or reversing a mispost. They all come back to the same idea: if it helps our users work better, and it makes sense to build it into the product, we will.
That is what "Always Getting Better" means in practice: useful improvements shaped by real businesses, real teams, and real working days.
